The first weekend of college is always an interesting time. You’ve spent years watching movies and TV shows about this experience, but never actually been able to see what it’s truly like. When you do finally arrive, you’ve got plenty of ideas about how it should go, but you’re not entirely certain those ideas are grounded in fact.
As a result, the thoughts you have during that first weekend usually go something like. . .
1. “I’m Finally Here! This Is So Exciting!”
You’ve been waiting for this moment for years. You can’t believe it’s actually arrived. You know you’re going to make the most out of the next four years.
2. “But This Is Kind Of Scary. . .”
New experiences may be exciting, but they’re also terrifying. You’ve been thrust into an unfamiliar world, and you’ve got to do your best to seem comfortable. Good luck with that.
