Spider-Man’s not your average superhero. He’s just a teenager who’s trying to find their way in the world, except he’s gifted with amazing spidey abilities. Spider powers are surely more interesting than your run-of-the-mill superpowers like flight, super strength, or super speed (sorry, Superman). With a wide, diverse array of villains as well, it’s not surprise that the Spider-Man series is one of the most successful superhero franchises of all time. With all that being said, everybody knows that he can do whatever a spider can, but I doubt that everybody knows these Spider-Man facts about our favorite web-slinging man!
Michael Fassbender as Dr. Connors
Michael Fassbender was originally supposed to play Dr. Connors in The Amazing Spider-Man, who plays as Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis The Lizard. The Lizard is able to regrow missing limbs from his body, which is a pretty useful ability to have. I guess Michael Fassbender decided that manipulating metal was a better superpower to have, as Fassbender decided to take on the role of Magneto in X-Men: First Class instead. I can’t blame him for choosing Magneto over The Lizard, as both superpowers are pretty cool either way.
