Do you get annoyed when you travel and all your clothes wind up wrinkled and messed up in your suitcase?  Or when your earphones are tangled like crazy  and it takes you 15 minutes to work it out?  Never fear!  We’ve gathered up some of our best travel hacks and they’ll be sure to get you on your way without too much of a hassle.  Here are 16 brilliant travel hacks to save you time and money.

1. Keep it fresh

Shove a few sheets of Bounce into your suitcase to keep your clothes smelling nice and clean.

2. Keep it organized

Put jewelry pieces into a pill-box so things won’t get tangled or messed up.

3. Keep it clean

Put a cereal box in the car for long road trips so you always have an instant trash can.  Remember– a clean car is a happy car.

4. Keep it easy

Buy a shower caddy from the dollar store and use it to hold food during road trips.  This is especially helpful if there aren’t enough cup-holders to go around.

5. Keep it straight

When you are driving and parking in a new place, make a pin on your phone of your parking location and take a picture of the spot so you won’t forget it and wander around lost later on.

6. Keep it rolled

Roll your belt inside a shirt collar.  Not only with this keep your belt neat, it will keep your shirt collar stiff and in place.

7. Keep it dry

If you’re going somewhere with the potential of getting your phone wet, bring along a plastic baggy to put it in.  You’ll be glad you did when it’s raining or you’re at the beach or someone spills a drink and your phone is ok!

9. Keep it safe

Pack razors with paper clips over them.  This will keep the razors from getting dulled and save your fingers from getting nicked by a floating razor.

Take a photo on your phone of your passport, drivers license, and flight information and email it all to yourself.  That way, if it gets lost or stolen, you still have a digital copy to go from.

Wrap bottles that might leak with plastic wrap and then screw the cap back on over the plastic wrap.  No more exploding bottles!

If you only need a small amount of cream, moisturizer, or concealer, put it in an old contact lens case.  You’ll save space!

Wrap cords that like to tangle easily (like headphones, charger cables etc) around an old gift card to keep it from tangling.  You’ll be glad you did!

Bring an empty water bottle with you to the airport and fill it up at a drinking fountain once you’re passed security (if you fill it beforehand, they’ll make you throw it out).
