Times have changed, that much is clear.  Things that are popular during one point in life have no value or meaning afterwards.  We bet you’ll remember these things that were cool in the past but not anymore.  Here’s 22 things that were totally cool ten years ago.

1. Wearing Abercrombie and Hollister clothing

These brands are totally struggling today, but ten years ago, they were the coolest.  Wearing the Abercrombie and Fitch moose or the Hollister eagle was the coolest piece of clothing you could ever find.

2. Chunky highlights

Blonde and brunette highlights and lowlights were the hottest hairstyles to have.  Back in 2005, skunk hair was all the rage.

3. Livestrong bracelets

Everyone in the world wore the bright yellow Livestrong bracelets back in 2005. These bracelets became taboo after Lance  Armstrong was found to be using supplements in his races.

4. The struggle of getting a ringtone on your phone

You had to make everyone quiet, record the song on your phone and then set it as your ringtone.

5. Taking Myspace profile pictures

This was back when no one had forward-facing cameras, so taking a great profile pic was especially hard.

This was the cool way to display what was important to you.

Ten years ago, every guy had long, spiked hair with tips that had been dyed with bleach.

8. Motorola Razr

This was before people started getting iPhones.  Before iPhones and Blackberries took over the world, the pink Motorola Razr was the most popular phone.

It’s always nice to have wheels on your feet to use when you needed them.

10. Wearing a tie as a necklace

As weird as it sounded, we all loved it anyway.

14. iPod Nano

These tiny iPods were the coolest back in the day.  Now, they’re just small and don’t hold tons of songs, but we all like how sturdy they were.

15. A headband with your name on it

Glitter was the only way to wear a headband back in the day.
