Depending on where you live, Donald Trump may or not be a popular guy.
Putting those differences aside, we thought you’d be surprised to read about some of your favorite Hollywood celebs who are throwing their support behind Donald Trump for president!
1. Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen, star of such hit films as Major League and Platoon, went out of his way to express his support for Donald Trump, stating that he’d vote for him “in a heartbeat!” He also said that he’d love to be his vice president, and also there was that one time where he actually called Trump “a shame pile of idiocy,” so we’re actually not really sure what to believe on this one, to be honest.
2. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan is on top of the world – if you’re someone who just came out of a coma and still thinks the year is 1989. After a successful career as a professional wrestler, he effortlessly pivoted into That Show Where He Drives an Action Boat and That Movie Where He’s an Alien and We Feel Bad for Christopher Lloyd. He also happens to be a pretty fervent Donald Trump supporter, stating that:
“I want to be Trump’s running mate.”
Hopefully Hogan is unable to rally his army of Hulkamaniacs to support Trump, or else there’s no way he doesn’t take the White House.
3. Stephen Baldwin
Stephen Baldwin has made a career out of being everyone’s least favorite Baldwin, which is pretty impressive because Alec won’t stop punching paparazzi and many people don’t even realize that David Baldwin* exists. Perhaps best known for The Usual Suspects, aka “That movie that is so good that even Stephen Baldwin is good in it.”** Baldwin also happens to be a Trump supporter. Baldwin said:
“He’s not a politician, and he doesn’t care what anybody thinks.”
*To our knowledge, David Baldwin does not exist. You’re thinking of Daniel. We did that to prove a point. Even though David Baldwin isn’t real, you immediately liked him more than Stephen, didn’t you?
**These are not our words. These are the words of his co-star, Kevin Pollack in that film. No, seriously.
4. Mike Tyson
Iron Mike Tyson is known for many things, including being one of the best boxers to ever live, having questionable judgment when it comes to face tattoos and also that one time where he decided that punching Evander Holyfield wasn’t enough, so he bit his ear off, too. Based on all of the above, it should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that Mike is also a… actually somewhat passive supporter of Donald Trump. He told Huffington Post:
“He should be President of the United States.”
Short, sweet and to the point. We like your style, Mike. Now please, please don’t hurt us.
Music legend Cher recently tweeted her support for Trump, saying that:
“Never thought I’d Say…. Donald Trump is a Giant Among GOP front runners!!”
6. Willie Robertson
Willie Robertson, unseen star of the classic Nintendo video game Duck Hunt, expressed support for Donald Trump at a rally in Oklahoma on September 25, 2015.
7. Terrell Owens
Former NFL star Terrell Owens said that:
“This may be what the country needs and Trump … he’s a guy who won’t put up with B.S. and has what it takes to change how government is run.”
And if there’s one person we can trust to make great, honest decisions, it’s a washed-up, retired NFL star.
8. Howard Stern
Howard Stern, radio legend and “King of All Media” (self appointed, naturally), expressed his support for Trump on his morning show, stating that he likes Donald Trump because he’ll “Get shit done.” He would not, however, go on to state specifically what “shit” he thought Trump would “get done,” or exactly how he would get that done to begin with, but we don’t want to argue with royalty.
9. Tila Tequila
Tila Tequila, known as both a model (really?) and a reality star (is that right?), loves Trump so much that she actually posted a video to YouTube in 2015 expressing her support.
10. Mark Cuban
Billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban, always known for his incredibly thoughtful and thorough vetting process, said that:
“I don’t care what his actual positions are. I don’t care if he says the wrong thing. He says what’s on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years.”
11. Tom Brady
Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, expressed his support of Trump very recently. He stated “Trump has done amazing things,” though he did not actually go on to specify what they were.
12. Teresa Giudice
Teresa Giudice, famous for being one of the integral supporting cast members of the hit reality show The Real Housewives of Something Or Other, also recently expressed her support for one Donald J. Trump in an interview.
13. Dennis Rodman
Dennis Rodman, retired pro-basketball player and third world dictator enthusiast, said on Twitter (of course it was Twitter. Why wouldn’t it be?) that:
“@realDonaldTrump has been a great friend for many years. We don’t need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr. Trump! Trump 2016.”
14. Gary Busey
Gary Busey, one of the great Hollywood screamers of all time, is famous for his roles in things like Lethal Weapon. He’s also been a Trump supporter for longer than most, telling Fox411 back in 2011 that “He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country after the last eight years.”
15. Sarah Palin
The former Alaska governor, former vice presidential nominee, and former Person Who People Spent Time Listening to and Thinking About, Sarah Palin made headlines (somehow) when she expressed her support for Donald Trump. It was expected that she would endorse her old friend Ted Cruz, who is actually probably pretty pumped about not having to answer the “So… Sarah Palin. Really? REALLY?” question in interviews over and over again.
Palin said at a campaign rally that “He is from the private sector, not a politician, can I get a ‘Hallelujah’?”
16. Kid Rock
Kid Rock, singer of such songs as “That one that sounds exactly like ‘Werewolves on London’” and others, won’t stop expressing his support for Donald Trump in interviews. He famously said that:
“My feeling: let the motherf*cking business guy run it like a fucking business. And his campaign has been entertaining as shit.”
17. Gene Simmons
Gene Simmons, KISS frontman and slowly melting wax statue, said that Trump was “a friend, a great father, and a straight shooter.”
18. Wayne Newton
Legendary singer Wayne Newton expressed his support for Donald Trump on Fox and Friends, saying that:
“I love Donald, and he would make a great president.”
19. Kenny Rogers
Country music legend and titan of the industry Kenny Rogers is over the moon about a Trump White House, saying that:
“I love what he says, I have to admit. He can be president and not owe anybody anything; he’s one of the few people who has the money to do it, and has the guts to do it.”
20. Ann Coulter
Famous angry person Ann Coulter has actually been a supporter of Donald Trump for quite some time, but she’s recently ramped things up a bit during his presidential bid. In an interview with WMAL, she said:
“We have been lied to for 30 years about immigration. That’s why Trump is striking this chord. He’s attractive. He’s tall. He’s hilariously funny. I think he could be not only a nominee who could win but a third party candidate who would win.”
21. Jesse Ventura
Jesse Ventura, second for being one of two members of the Predator cast who would eventually go on to get elected to something that wasn’t Predator 2, said:
“I shocked my staff today. I came in and said, ‘You know what, as far as the Republicans are concerned, I hope Trump wins.’”
Jesse Ventura has also been in the news for other reasons in the last few years. He sued former American Sniper Chris Kyle for defamation, a lawsuit that he eventually won.
22. Jesse James
Jesse James, famous for the reality show Monster Garage, is another of the many, many former Celebrity Apprentice contestants who would go on to endorse Donald Trump for some reason. He recently penned a long love letter to the Donald on Facebook (a manifesto, you might say) where he said, among other things:
I was able to observe him and his kids in their day to day routine. What I saw was a person that treated everyone with respect. Even the (Hispanic) guys in the mail room. This guy is the Real Deal, and will Make America Great Again.
23. Loretta Lynn
Country singer Loretta Lynn (you know what? We’re actually kind of starting to see a bit of a pattern, here) definitely supports a Donald Trump White House, stating to Reuters:
“Trump has sold me — what more can I say? I just think he’s the only one who’s going to turn this country around.”
24. Ted Nugent
When he’s not busy shooting anything and everything on one of his ranches, musician Ted Nugent also spends his time loving Donald Trump, stating:
“[Trump] should be given the Medal of Freedom for speaking his mind in such a bold, honest, and straightforward manner.”
25. Lou Ferrigno
Lou Ferrigno of The Incredible Hulk fame said that “I hope Donald goes all the way” when asked about his opinions on Trump’s campaign. To be fair to Lou, though, he’s never actually heard some of the wild things Donald Trump has said.
You can ask Lou Ferrigno all about his support for Donald Trump this weekend, when he appears right in your own home town at the monthly comic book convention/boat show at the convention center!
26. Ivana Trump
Donald Trump’s ex, Ivana Trump, may not support him in marriage, but she does appear to support him in his presidential bid. She even recently held a luncheon to support his prospects. If there’s anybody who probably has a solid idea of what Donald Trump is like behind closed doors, it’s Ivana Trump. And yet for some reason, she’s shown support for him anyway.
