Peter Stults, a digital media designer and illustrator, created these awesome “vintage” posters for modern movies that will remind you of Hollywood’s “Golden Age”, a time when films were using painted posters for their promotion.
Before the new Hollywood was using these scene stills from movies with lots of CGI as movie posters that we often see nowadays, the old Hollywood were using hand-illustrated posters that usually depicted stars in a muralesque style that gives an idea of the narrative content of the movie.
In this amazing series that just screams old school cool by Peter Stults, the artist reimagines how popular modern films like Interstellar and Skyfall would look like if they had been released in the 50s and starred by actors and actresses from bygone eras. The results are nothing short of awesome. Check them out for yourself!
