Jasenko Ðordevic grew up loving miniatures. This fascination for scaled-down versions of anything led Ðordevic to develop a virtuosity in carving miniscule sculptures unconventionally made from an unlikely material: a pencil’s graphite. Now, the Bosnian artist can turn any pencil tip into tiny works of art, depicting richly detailed people, animals and famous structures.
Ðordevic uses an X-acto knife and tiny chisel to carve these impossibly small sculptures. The resulting amazingly detailed artwork can even make one think that the sculpture is made from stone or charred wood. Take a look at some of Ðordevic’s awesome artworks below. Enjoy!
