Dismaland: 30 Photos From Banksy’s “Bemusement Park”

Banksy, the world’s most famous unknown graffiti artist and agent provocateur, just launched his latest project, a “bemusement park” called Dismaland. The exhibition, which is a parody of the so-called “happiest place on Earth” theme park Disneyland, opened to the public last August 22 and is considered Banksy’s largest exhibition to date.

Aside from featuring the elusive artist’s works and 50 other international artists like Damien Hirst and Jenny Holzer, Dismaland also features musical performances and arcade games. Banksy refers to Dismaland as “a festival of art, amusements, and entry-level anarchism.”

For those of you who want to check out Dismaland, it is located at southwestern England’s Weston-super-Mare. Unfortunately, legal representatives of the Walt Disney Corporation are strictly prohibited from entering.

For those of you who can’t go, here are some photos of the grim site in all its dystopic, grisly glory. Enjoy!
