We can all say that dogs are sensitive enough to know the mood of their owners, simply by observing their facial expressions. So, observing this connection between pets and humans, the German photographer Ines Opifanti wondered if the owners are also able to “read” the facial expressions of their very best friends. She decided to create a photography series in which she photographed the dog, and then asked the owner to imitate their facial expressions and moods. The results were pretty interesting. Here is a special selection of some of the best pictures of dog owners attempting to mimic their dog’s facial expressions. Enjoy!
