Here’s A Better Way To Tackle Your Snacks


If you love to eat, then you’ve come to the right place.  Preparing and consuming food is all about saving time and energy and when done correctly, can leave you satiated, satisfied and happy.  Here, we’ve found some great tips on how to eat some of your favorite foods more efficiently.  From tacos, to Oreos, pistachios, and even ice cream, we’re sure there’s a tip in here that you’ll enjoy. Here’s a better way to tackle your snacks.

1. Make an easy taco salad

Filling up a Fritos or Doritos bag with taco meat and toppings is an easy way to get a delicious taco salad in mere minutes.

2. Cut soft foods with floss

Floss is your new best friend.  You’ll never have to worry about cutting things wrong or at the wrong angle or even squishing them with the knife.  Just use some floss! Voila!

3. Make your sandwich meaty

By simple stacking the meat on the bread, you’ll have plenty in the middle but none in the corners or sides.  By cutting circular meat in half and place like so, you’ll be sure to get some turkey in every bite.

4. Crack it open

Open stubborn pistachios by using a shell from a previously opened pistachio.  Simply insert, twist and open.

5. Popcorn bowl

By using a hood as a popcorn bowl, you are saving yourself the hassle of washing a dish, sticking your hands in a greasy popcorn bag and having to use your hands.  You can dive face-first into your hood.

6. Freeze it good

By filling up a water bottle partially and then freezing it on its side overnight, you’ll still have space for water in the morning.

7. Flip it to cut

Cut bread by flipping it over and cutting on the softer side.  Your cuts will look prettier and the bread will slice much more nicely.

8. Grape cubes

Freeze grapes and then add them to white wine to keep it chilled without watering it down.

9. Cool it quick

Cool down a soda or beer quickly by placing a wet paper towel around it and putting it in the freezer.  It will be nice and chill in no time at all.

11. Want some Oreo cubes to go with your frozen coffee?

Just crush ’em up, freeze ’em with milk and then put them in your drink.  Yummy!

12. How to correctly eat a cupcake

Are you tired of shoving frosting all over your face and then eating the cake part with no frosting left?  Well, then cut the cupcake in half and put it on top, then devour!  Problem solved!

13. Get the most out of your ice cream

When you’ve only got a little bit of ice cream left, might as well stick it in a Nutella jar and go to town.  I mean, it’s the only right thing to do.

14. Get toasty

Get perfectly toasted bread for BLT’s or sandwiches by placing two slices in the same toaster slot.  The outside will be crunchy and the inside will be warm and soft.

15. Dispense properly

Use a straw to make sure the topping goes right where you want it to.

16. Share some ice cream

Now this is how you share a pint of ice cutting it in half.

17. Bring it home

Bring pizza home without ruining it by placing a soda bottle on the car seat to keep the boxes level.

18. Ice cup

Float a cup of ice in a pitcher of beer to keep it cold.

19. Use a fork

Use fork tines to hold your taco open while you’re filling it up!
