Toddlers are hilarious tiny creatures. They have much more mobility and energy than a baby and they can make you laugh and cry all in the blink of an eye. Those little devious children sure give us a run for our money. Here’s what living with toddlers really looks like.
1. “What? He likes it.”
Toddlers have no idea that they could be hurting someone or something when they sit on it. So, he’ll just keep riding the dog when you’re not looking.
2. Shopping at Target with a 3-year-old
This is what it looks like, meltdowns and all.
3. Making salsa
Too bad he decided to mash it into the carpet…
4. Temper tantrums for no reason at all
He wanted to fit inside the bus and cried when he couldn’t.
5. Paint in the tub
Baths are usually a time to get cleaner, not dirtier…unless you’re two years old.
6. The toilet is a dumping ground
All sorts of things end up in there.
7. Making mud pies
Don’t let them out of your sight for two seconds outside or this will happen.
8. Marking territory
This is how a 3-year-old lets your know she wants all the apples…by taking a small bite out of each one.
9. Water bowl lapping
Kids love doing like the dog does. So, yes they’ll eat his food and drink his water.
10. Marker everywhere
Never hand your toddler a marker unsupervised. You’ll regret it.
11. Going out in costume
12. However it gets done
Sometimes you just want them to poop, even if it has to be in front of the TV.
13. Eating until you crash
Sometimes eating just really wipes you out.
14. Walking around in a diaper
Because that’s all you’ll let mom put on before you can get outside.
15. Messy eater
If you can imagine what this looks like, just think of the house behind her.
16. Making omelets on the table
Raw eggs and toddlers are not a good combination.
17. Wearing mommy’s makeup
If you let her anywhere near it, she’ll smear it everywhere.
18. Peanut butter problems
“What, mom, it’s like a face mask!”
19. Cutting their own hair
Oh no. This is a sad day that somehow always happens.
20. Toilet paper wasted
Toddlers are actually very wasteful little things. They have no idea about being green.
21. This is what to expect
The drawing all over this book is exactly what you should expect during toddler years.
22. This s his face after eating an Oreo
Yep, just an Oreo. Do you get that excited?
23. Pooping on mom’s bed
Hey, as long as it goes in the potty, we’ve got no problems here.
