The latest powerful project of the British photographer James Mollison titled “Playground” is a perfect way to see the cultural and social differences, not only of children, but entire countries around the world. James Mollison explained that his idea started from the desire to record a series of photos showing not only the social and cultural differences, but the way children relate to them, how they play and interact. “I started the project in the UK, revisiting my school and some of the other schools nearby. I became fascinated by the diversity of children’s experiences, depending on their school. The contrasts between British schools made me curious to know what schools were like in other countries.” Here’s a special selection showing some of the best pictures portraying playgrounds around the world. It’s incredible and fascinating!
