If you’re anything like me, you get a little light-headed when you look down over a huge cliff or even the moment right before a roller coaster flies down that first track.  But, some people seek out thrilling adventures more than others.  So, are you scared of heights?  These photos will make your heart skip a beat.

1. Camping on the cliff

What, you wouldn’t want to camp in a tent hanging from cables on the side of cliff? Why not?

2. Skywalking in the Alps

This may not look too terrifying…but I assure you that it is. It would be so easy to slip, fall, and, well, she won’t die because she has a harness on…but still.

3. Climbing the Redwoods

Because the most fun they could think of was climbing up giant trees together.  Uhhhhh.

4. Sitting on the Trolltunga cliff edge in Norway

I know it can be fun to be kind of crazy sometimes…but this is just nuts.  You could literally fall right off that thing and then no one would ever hear from you ever ever again.

5. Jumping on the Trolltunga cliff edge

Because what’s better than sitting on a cliff edge….jumping on it, clearly.  Hope they all survived the fall.

Not only does this look and sound really hard (and really cold), he could plummet to his death at any moment.  Any moment.  Well, ok, he’s got that harness. BUT STILL.

9. On the Kjeragbolten boulder in Norway

There is nothing under that boulder.  It’s being held in place by two mountains but it could decide it wants to be on the ground (which is a long, long way down) at any moment.  AND THIS GUY IS STANDING ON IT LIKE IT’S NOTHING.

10. Taking skiing to the extreme at Grand Targhee, Wyoming

We’re kind of jealous of this guy’s moxie.  But other than that, we’re ok.  We’re not going to suffer death by skiing injuries any time soon.

13. Really high diver

Blake Aldridge dives 29 meters from the rock monolith during the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Portugal. We’re amazed by his bravery.
