Summer Style Inspiration: Look Hotter Than It Is Outside

We’ve already given you tips on how to rock a flawless summer look.  But, now, how about some inspiration from actual people to give you outfit ideas?  Yeah, we thought you’d like that too.  Here’s some summer style inspiration: look hotter than it is outside.

1. Pair a loose top with cut-offs

You don’t want to get things too tight.  If you’re going to be wearing shorts that are really short, pair it with a loose top for a fun, flowing feel.

2. Tuck tops into high-waisted shorts

If you’re wearing something high-waisted, be sure to show it off!  If your shirt cover the top of it, we don’t even know that your bottoms are high-waisted.  Hello– waste of time and money!

3. Play with your flirty skirts

If you’re wearing a flowy, lacey skirt, pairing it with a chambray top and a leather belt at the waist help turn a super-girly outfit into something flirty and fun.

4. It’s all about that bag

Oversized leather bags with long straps are a hit this season.  Maybe it’s because it’s roomy enough for all of your essentials or maybe it’s because the long strap makes it totally versatile.  Whatever it is, we like it.

5. Bear those brights

It’s summertime…which means mixing and matching colorful (even neon) pieces is totally acceptable.  So, go on and rock it.

6. Floral darling

Floral is totally in this season…and it’s no wonder.  It’s easy to wear, versatile, and looks great on everyone.  Pick your favorite floral pieces and wear them with ease.

7. Bundle up

If you need to wear a light coat, sweater or jacket in the summer months because of a chilly early morning commute (or an office that feels like it’s in the north pole), have no fear.  Wear a coat and still look chic with shorts.

8. Patterned pants

This is the cutest way to wear pants since…well, since pants were invented.  Patterns and colors give you a cool vibe and they look effortlessly chic.

9. Crop top and high waist

If you’re going to wear a crop top (and you should) then pair it with a skirt that is waist-high.  We aren’t trying to bear our midriffs to the world like in the 90’s.  This is 2015 and we only want to show a peek of skin.  That’s all.

10. Coordinate colors

While wearing brights, it’s always fun to match a little bit.  Match your skirt with a necklace, blazer or scarf for a brighter look.

11. Rock those sunnies

Big, round sunglasses are all the rage right now.  They make your face look shapely and come in an array of fun colors.

12. Stick to basics

Don’t be afraid to stick to basic colors like black, white,  and tan for a look that is classic.

13. Split skirts are hot

These little numbers make your legs look amazing and are very easy to wear during the summer months.
