#1 The Experiment

A new social experiment known as “Small Plates” has gone viral on the Internet in the last few days. The video is an initiative of The New York Times, in partnership with the acclaimed chef, Daniel Boulud. In the experiment, they decided to send 6 second grader kids from Brooklyn to dine at one of the fanciest and most expensive restaurants in New York City, ‘Daniel’, which is owned by the chef mentioned above.  The objective, among many others, was to find out how these kids would react when the fine-dining style meals were placed in front of them, and to get an idea of their opinions on this whole new universe. To give you an idea, imagine a restaurant where a seven-course tasting menu costs $220 per head. Yep.
